Where are your products made?
Every jar of Butter and every Lip Butter tube is handmade in small batches in Orange, California.
When will my order ship?
Orders placed M-F before 3:30 PM Pacific Time Zone, will ship the same day or the next business day via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order ships.
Can I use Butter with oily skin? Will it cause breakouts?
Oil-based skincare products such as Butter have a unique advantage over water-based products in treating and preventing acne, because they are ‘lipophilic’ – meaning Butter will draw oil away and dissolve it in clogged pores, sealing the skin with a natural protectant layer. In contrast, water-based skincare products dry out the skin, encourage greater oil production, and leave skin vulnerable to age-related changes and inflammation.
Will Butter help fight the signs of aging?
Yes, our powerful ingredients combine to prevent age related skin changes:
- Hemp Seed Butter: packed with vitamins A, C, E, and omega-3 fatty acids which help protect skin from pollution and repair sun damage
- Marula Oil: loaded with antioxidants that work to both prevent and heal sun damage that causes aging
- Shea Butter: carries essential fatty acids that boost collagen and elastin, with added anti-inflammatory benefits
- Macadamia Butter: packed with powerful antioxidants that delay premature skin aging, like wrinkles and age spots
Do you test on animals?
Since day one, Ellovi has been vegan and cruelty-free. We’ve partnered with organizations on the front lines of ending animal testing globally. We love animals, and only test products on our (human) team.
Are your products certified organic?
Our handmade products are made with only plant-based, natural, and consciously-sourced ingredients, using certified organic whenever possible. We work with ethical suppliers around the globe, including partnering with women’s collectives like Global Mamas. The Ghana-based organization supplies Ellovi our skin-boosting shea butter, which is produced organically but not yet certified organic.
Can I cancel or skip a month of my membership?
Absolutely! Just login to your account and cancel or skip a month of your membership at any time. If you’re trying to cancel during your first month, please email us at hello@ellovi.com and we’re happy to assist you.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Ellovi experience. If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply return it within 60 days of purchase. To start a return, please reach out to us via hello@ellovi.com. For products purchased through our membership program, the option to return applies to the latest product shipped to you. You are responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds will be applied to the original form of payment.
